"Twenty years from now, you will be far more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So, throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."

P.S.  You know what I hate?  When you order the most awesome Holga camera online, and then get a text message the next day saying they were actually sold out when you order it.  Thanks for the "sold out" icon~NOT!  I guess the search continues...

"I wish you bluebirds in the spring..."

This is a lovely song by Rachael Yamagata.  I really love the melody and the lyrics of it.  She's very talented and has so many great songs!  If you haven't seen this movie (Prime), it was also equally lovely :)  Enjoy!

Life is funny...

As I was surfing the internet and some blogs, I found a few quotes that I really liked and want to share with you.

On this day, God wants you to know...
"that you've been talking to God too much and not listening enough.  Prayer is when you talk to God.  Meditation is when you become quiet and listen to God.  You've learned how to talk and ask well.  Time to learn how to listen and hear because God has been ansering you."~via Facebook app.

Recently, I've been praying a lot.  When I read this quote yesterday, it was as if God was talking to directly to me.  It's time for me to become quiet, meditate, and listen now.

On this day, God wants you to know...
that if you relax, it comes.  Don't seek, don't search, don't ask, don't knock, don't demand~relax.  If you relax, it is there.  If you relax, God shows you the way."~via Facebook app.

Once again, as I read this quote today, it was as if God was telling me not to worry but to relax and He will show me the way.

"We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love."

I saw this quote while glancing through some blogs and thought it was funny and true at the same time.  I guess I'm just waiting to find the person whose weirdness is compatible with mine :)

Shopping in Korea...

Shopping in Korea is great because you can find amazing things for great prices...and you can always ask for a discount.  ;)  I found these adorable flats at Myoung Dong~one of Seoul's most popular shopping spots.  I bought them from a outdoor vendor for $10 each!  I know I can't wear them right now because it's winter, but I couldn't pass them up!  I think they'll be great for spring and summer!

"The Time is Now!"

So, I've been working really hard to build up my savings because it's the "responsible" thing to do.  I've thought about possible investments~apartment/house, new car, etc., but the other day, my older cousin said something to me that was like a smack in the face!  I've always felt that I've lived my life with no regrets, but after graduating from college, I suddenly began telling myself that I needed to be more rational-more adultlike.  She asked me how much money I had saved and what I was going to use it for.  I responded with all of the "you're an adult now, this is what you're suppose to say answers," but she just looked at me.

"I wish I could just use the money to travel like you," I said.  She then questioned why I couldn't.  I once again answered with rational reasons.  After I finished my list (which actually seemed rather short), she said this:

"THE TIME IS NOW!  You have your whole life to work and to be responsible.  Travel while you can because it may not be possible in the future.  You might have a nice house and a nice car, but you won't have the memories."

Wow!  I was shocked, confused, and inspired all at the same time.  This was my OLDER cousin telling me this!  After our conversation, I came to this conclusion.  Using my savings to travel the world might not be the most rational thing to do, but I do know that I need to live my life to the fullest.  Life is too short and precious to have any regrets.  We shouldn't just go through life, but we should experience it.  I really needed my cousin to say those words, so I could do a priority check.  This quote by Mark Twain pretty much sums up this post:

"Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones that you did do.  So throw off the bowlines.  Sail away from the safe harbor.  Catch the trade winds in your sails.  Explore.  Dream.  Discover."

I must say, he was a very smart man...
